pixair racetrack January 6, 2009 Michele Doyle (Illinois) I have not played with this toy myself, but I know that on Christmas Eve, my grandson loved it! He immediately started playing with it and seemed to really enjoy it. It came all in one piece, so there was no having to put it together, which I appreciated. I would recommend it.
Loads of Fun for my Son! December 28, 2008 Christina Stephenson (Santa Fe, NM) My almost 3 year old received this from Santa this year and Loves it. The repetative nature of the track seems to enthrall him rather than bore him. It is simple for him to use, but he squeals in delight everythime the cars race down the track. He also enjoys the sounds that go off everythime he sends the cars down the track. I am very glad that I got it for him this year.
A wonderful toy for the Cars fans in your house - boys or girls November 29, 2008 J. Weiss (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't understand what all the negative comments about this toy are about. Right out of the box, this is a wonderful toy!!! Well worth the money. You are not paying for intricate design but, rather, for durability. My granddaughter, grandson and niece played with this all day on Thanksgiving and had many other toys from which to choose. The nonsense about not all hotwheels working is bunk. A few hotwheels are too wide and don't work, so pick another one. I doubt that any child has just 1 or 2 hotwheels. This toy made the kids laugh and squeal with delight. They made up games with it, took turns, and fought over who gets to push the lever. Great fun. You won't be sorry you bought this toy.
Good overall October 28, 2008 scientific mom (Omaha, NE) My kids (age 5, 3, 2) all love this although it keeps the attention of my youngest for the longest. The two cars it comes with are little, plastic, and lightweight. They fly down the track. Of our 20 or so metal diecast cars, we have ONE that is small and light enough to be equally as fast (I think it has a plastic body). Some of the others fit down the track but are slow because of their weight; still others are too long to make it down the tight spiral and get stuck. In theory it shouldn't matter if the track works with any other cars - except that we all know the two it comes with will someday be lost! It would just take a little hunting at Walmart or Target to find a small, lightweight replacement.
Still Loving It October 27, 2008 Bobbi Sue Jenkins (Cartersville, GA United States) My son got this toy for Christmas 2007, and now, coming up on another Christmas, he still loves it. It DOES work with other "matchbox" style cars, just not all of them. They have to be narrow. The voices can be annoying, especially if you bump into it in the middle of the night, it sounds very loud, lol, but it's fun for my son. He was 20 months old when we got it, and he's more than 2 and a half now and still loving this toy. Well worth the price at $23.99. And it's the only toy from last year that he still plays with consistently.
