My 3 year old son loves this puzzle and we've put it together many times. The pieces are durable and the puzzle is challenging enough to be interesting but not so much that he can't do it alone. He loves firetrucks and this has been a truly enduring purchase. Would buy again.

Melissa and Doug puzzles are generally a good buy with big sturdy pieces and bright colors. This puzzle is no different.
The pieces are big enough for little fingers to hold and manipulate. The pieces are durable and have put with with three children putting this puzzle together and pulling it apart repeatedly. The colors are bright.
The bright yellow line going down the side of the fire truck is what makes it easy enough for children as young as four (and a little bit younger) able to put it together.
This is a great puzzle.

as with the other M&D puzzles, this one resists being walked on and chewed on by my 3 and 1 year olds. My three year old likes fire trucks and he likes puzzles, he also acts like every time he puts it together is the first time he noticed the dalmatian in the back window. I highly recommend this puzzle.
