Product Description
Uncle Goose has been producing the highest quality American Made Blocks since 1983. At 1 3/4" square, these embossed, heirloom quality set of blocks are the largest embossed blocks made today. Another update of a classic, these whimsical blocks help children to learn their nursery rhymes. Great for block play, early reading or as a nursery decoration. Sure to be cherished as a favorite toy or family heirloom. Each block is embossed on opposite ends with two silhouette images from classic Mother Goose stories. The nursery rhyme text is printed consecutively on the four remaining side. Nine blocks per set, made from the same generous 1 3/4" blocks as the alphabet set.
Editorial Review
This high-quality block set is one of the best on the market. Each large (1.75-inch square), all-wood block is carefully sanded for smoothness and finished with nontoxic paint. Pictures of familiar nursery rhymes are embossed and brightly painted on two sides of each of the nine blocks. The remaining four sides of each block feature the corresponding nursery rhyme. This set includes "Jack Be Nimble," "Sing a Song of Sixpence," "It's Raining, It's Pouring," "Little Miss Muffet," "Mary Had a Little Lamb," "There Was an Old Woman," "Pussycat, Pussycat," "Little Robin Redbreast," and "The Cat and the Fiddle." These blocks are fun to read, great to build with, and go well with a good Mother Goose volume. --Tami Horiuchi
